In recent years, the technical strength of the technology research and development center has been enhanced. With 4 professionals with senior titles brought into the Company, the Company now has 15 designers and 17 lofting persons. With advanced CAD drafting room and lofting center, the Company has been equipped with complete hardware and software facilities. Besides, the Company has set up long term cooperation relationship with several electric power design institutes in China and has accumulated abundant design and lofting experience, thus capable of providing professional design according to requirements of the users and creating favorable conditions for fabrication of different types of towers. To further improve our technical service work, the technology research and development center has been exploring and absorbing more advanced technologies and processes.
From the aspect of design, the Company has introduced the angle steel tower design program of Northeast Electric Power Design Institute and the tower design program of Beijing DaoPower. For drafting, STW drawing program of Li Ruishi from Changsha is used, which can greatly meet design and lofting requirements for production.
For steel pipe tower lofting, pipe tower calculation program is used, saving a lot of manual calculation time and thus greatly improving efficiency. As our lofting persons have been researching
and innovating, our lofting level has reached a leading level in the industry. In the field of angle steel tower, Li Pingyi angle steel tower 2-dimensional lofting program and 3-dimensional TMA lofting program were introduced into the Company in 2006, and special training was conducted on staff of the technical center. As the result of consistent study, the lofting persons are now proficient in using these programs, putting an end to low efficiency and high error rate as calculation used to be the main task.
Technical skills of our lofting persons have been greatly improved. They can work on complicated structures of single pipe towers, angle steel towers, 4-pipe towers and frameworks independently; in particular, they have made outstanding progress in the field of angle steel tower. 500kV and 750kV large circuit towers can be easily handled, and accuracy of lofting has been greatly improved.
In 2012, the technology research and development center will further exploit potential of our personnel, give full play to subjective initiative of our technical personnel and further improve our technical level. With realization of benefits for processing as the premise, through communication and discussion with workshop production personnel, some technical process details can be improved to bring more convenience for processing, improve processing accuracy and speed, ensure product quality and provide satisfactory products to the users.
